2008 INFINITI M35. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO EVAPORATOR EMISSION VAPOR VENT VALVE REPAIRS. CONSUMER IS SEEKING REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPAIRS. *LD *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 INFINITI M35. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE FROM A STOP, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT A BELT IN THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V430000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 169,000.
