The contact owns a 2022 Indian FTR1200 Motorcycle. The contact stated that while riding at various speeds on several occasions, the motorcycle lost automotive power with battery failure and an inoperable ABS. The contact stated that the ECM was sending 16 amps to the battery instead of the standard 14 amps, causing the battery to fail prematurely. The motorcycle was taken to a local dealer and was diagnosed with electrical failures; however, the motorcycle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,300.

Motorcycle will shut down for no reason. Full loss of power. Purchased motorcycle on 6/28/22. The bike has been back to the dealership twice. Still same problem. Dangerous!!! You will be driving around in traffic and all of a sudden it will just die.
