ALTHOUGH VEHICLE PASSED EMISSIONS IN 2020, VARIOUS CHECK ENGINE CODES FOR MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR, OXYGEN SENSORS, MISFIRE FOR VARIOUS CYLINDERS. AFTER REPLACING INDICATED MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR, OXYGEN SENSORS INDICATED VIA OBD II TOOL, BATTERY, ALTERNATOR (MORE THAN ONCE), BOTH FRONT CV BOOTS, HEAD GASKET SEALS FOR BOTH CYLINDER BANKS, MORE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ISSUES APPEAR ACCORDING TO THE VEHICLE. TRANSMISSION KEEPS SLIPPING OUT OF GEAR WHEN YOU PUT INTO GEAR AND CAR WON'T MOVE. YOU STOP AT A LIGHT AND EVEN THOUGH CAR IS IN GEAR IT WON'T MOVE. FLIP IT BACK AND FORTH ON AUTO GEAR SHIFT SOMETIMES IT MOVES. OTHER TIMES IT CHANGES GEARS OR SLIPS OUT. *TR

WHILE STOPPED AT A LIGHT THE ENGINE REVVED UP TO A HIGH RATE. I TRIED TO PUT THE TRANSMISSION INTO NEUTRAL BUT PUT IT INTO REVERSE INSTEAD, THE HIGH RATE OF REVS CONTINUED, FINALLY GOT IT INTO NEUTRAL AND ENGINE WENT BACK TO NORMAL IDLE SPEED. WHEN LIGHT CHANGED PUT TRANSMISSION INTO DRIVE AND PROCEEDED HOME (A FEW BLOCKS) WITHOUT INCIDENT. THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 13 MONTHS AGO WHEREBY THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE IDLE SPEED CONTROL AND THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR. ALSO THEY DID A THROTTLE BODY AND FUEL INJECTION SERVICE AT THAT TIME. *TR
