So the part that is a malfunction is the rear doors weren’t made with any child lock and of course one of my kids opened the door while i was driving on the highway.I have a 3 and 5 year old and it scared me so bad I had to hurry and pull the hummer over and park and just held my son. I couldn’t even drive after that because of how bad it traumatized me. My mom had to come get and take me and my kids home and drive my hummer back home. Even though we didn’t crash or one of my kids didn’t fall out.it’s still a very serious safety hazard. I reached out to gm to see what my options were and there response was how gm made child locks in 2007 and up and that’s not the truth because mine is a 2007 and it...
HOOD VENT IS LOOSE&COMING OFF.
THE TUBULAR FRAME HAD WHAT LOOKS LIKE COLD SLUGS WELDS AT SEVERAL JOINT LOCATIONS THAT ALLOWED WATER TO ENTER AND RUST FROM THE INSIDE OUT. THE FRAME CAN BE PUSHED THROUGH WITH A FINGER. THE FRAME SPRINGS BROKE WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD DROPPING THE FUEL TANK THROUGH THE GAS TANK CAUSING A FIRE HAZARD.
PLASTIC HOOD LOUVER HAS BECOME DETACHED, SEVERAL OF THE PLASTICS CLIPS ATTACHING THE LOUVERS TO THE HOOD ARE BROKEN. THE LOUVER FLEW OFF THE VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING ON A STATE HIGHWAY GOING APPROXIMATELY 50 MILES PER HOUR.

I KEEP GETTING A CODE THAT STATES THAT MY TRUCK RUNS WITH A LOW ENGINE TEMPERATURE. PLUS MY TRUCK HAS HAD A LEAK FROM SOME WHERE AROUND THE LOWER WINDSHIELD THAT IS CAUSING ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND SOAKING WET FLOORS! WE HAD A MECHANIC LOOK FOR THE LEAK AND TRY TO FIX THIS ISSUE BUT WAS UNABLE TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND WE WERE ALSO TOLD BY A FEW DEALERSHIP THAT THEY HAVE SEEN A LOT OF H3 HUMMERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM! ALSO WE ARE HAVING ISSUES THAT CAUSES THE TRACTION SIGNAL TO COME ON REGULARLY AND IT CAUSES MY TRUCK TO LOCK UP. IT HAS ALMOST CAUSED US TO WRECK SEVERAL TIMES! IT'S VERY SCARY TO DRIVE MY HUMMER! EVERY TIME WE HAVE ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS WE ARE ALWAYS IN MOTION AND IT'S ALWAYS ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN WE ARE DRIVING AT HIGHER SPEEDS. IT NEVER SEEMS TO...

I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE USED APPROXIMATELY 7 YEARS AGO. I WAS TAKING MY VEHICLE THROUGH AN AUTOMATED CAR WASH AND THE HOOD VENT CAME COMPLETELY OFF. I NOTICED THERE WAS A RECALL IN 2010 CONCERNING THIS PART BUT I NEVER GOT NOTIFICATION. WHEN I LOOK UP BY MY VIN, IT STATES NO RECALLS. WHY NOT? I NOTICED IT WAS LOOSE AT ONE LOWER CORNER AND ALREADY HAD DISCUSSED FIXING IT WITH THE BODY SHOP. I NEED THE HOOD VENT REPLACED NOW SINCE IT TORE THE LATCHES LOOSE FROM THE TOP. *TR
