MY STEERING WHEEL WAS HARD TO STEER AT TIMES. MOSTLY IT FELT LIKE IT WOULD LOCK-UP ON ITS OWN. DURING DRIVING. WHENEVER I NOTICE A FLUID LEAK IN MY DRIVEWAY. I CONTACT MY LOCAL HONDA DEALERSHIP. CAUSE I PURCHASED THE CAR JUNE 12, 2020.I HAD PURCHASED EXTENDED WARRANTY, TO HELP PAY FOR REPAIRS. HONDA DEALERSHIP HAD TO REPLACE FACTORY POWER STEERING PUMP AND POWER-STEERING HIGH PRESSURE HOSE. WHICH COST ME OUT OF POCKET OF $ 1,365.03. THIS ITEM WAS NOT COVERED UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY. I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP, WHEN PURCHASED IN 2010, THERE WAS A RE-CALL ON THIS ITEM.
PIVOT BOLT ON THE AUTO-TENSIONER BROKE TWICE. THE FIRST TIME THE PIVOT BOLT BROKE WAS AFTER I HAD THE ALTERNATOR REPLACED AND I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY TO TAKE CHILDREN TO SCHOOL IN SUBZERO WINTER CONDITIONS. I BARELY MADE IT HOME AS MY VAN WAS RUNNING ONLY ON THE BATTERY. IF I HAD STALLED ALONG THE ROAD, ME AND MY CHILDREN WERE AT RISK OF HYPOTHERMIA OR POSSIBLY DEATH DUE TO FRIGID -40 COLD WEATHER. I THEN HAD A NEW TENSIONER PULLEY BRACKET INSTALLED AND AFTER DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND THE PIVOT BOLT BROKE OFF COMPLETELY AGAIN. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION THAT CAN CAUSE SERIOUS HARM OR DEATH DUE TO DEFECTIVE PIVOT BOLT..
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 HONDA ODYSSEY. WHILE MAKING LEFT AND RIGHT TURNS, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD CLICKING NOISE IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE POWER TRAIN FAULT INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE RACK AND PINION AND STEERING COLUMN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
THIS VEHICLE SPEED FROM 50 TO 70 MILES IF TAKE BRAKE THE CAR VIBRATE, THAT START FROM AROUND 30,000 MILES. AFTER FIXED IT, ABOUT 5,000 MILES, VIBRATE AGAIN. NOW THE TOTAL MILEAGE IS 79,300, ALREADY FIXED 3 TIMES. I FOUND HONDA ALL CAR MODEL HAS THE SAME ISSUE (ALL MY FRIENDS' DIFFERENT HONDA CAR MODELS) . ANOTHER PROBLEM IS WHEN DRIVE FEELING A STRONG VIBRATION IN STEERING WHEEL WHEN ACCELERATION FEELING FROM THIS APRIL 2017. LAST WEEK JUST FIXED IT, DEALER CHANGED BOTH SIDE OF DRIVESHAFT ASSY-. CAR DEALER TALKED TO ME MANUFACTURE USED THE BAD PARTS MAY FROM 2008 TO 2012.

STEERING HAS DISTINCTIVE NOTCH FEEL. DEALER INDICATES U-JOINT ON INTERMEDIATE SHAFT IS WORN. THIS APPEARS TO BE SIMILAR TO PROBLEMS IN EARLIER MODELS AND OTHER HONDA PRODUCTS. CURRENTLY FINDING PARTS TO MAKE REPAIRS. *TR
WE PURCHASED A 2010 BRAUN ENTERVAN IN LATE 2011. IT WAS NEW WITH 17 MILES. WE NOTICED WATER COLLECTING UNDER FRONT SEATS AT ABOUT 15000 MILES. IT WAS RUSTING OUR SEAT ANCHORS WHICH COULD LEAD TO FAILURE IN A CRASH. IT ALSO HAS PERSISTENT STEERING PROBLEMS AND TIRE WEARING AT 15000 MILES. IT WAS RETURNED TO BRAUN FOR REPAIR BECAUSE WE INSISTED AND WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE BRAUN CORPORATION. THEY ATTEMPTED REPAIRS BUT RETURNED TO US WITH MORE ISSUES AND A CONTINUED STEERING PROBLEM.THIS WAS THEIR FIRST YEAR DOING A HONDA ENTERVAN CONVERSION AND THEY HAVE OFFERED A 5000.00 SUPPLEMENT TOWARD A TRADE. OUR LOCAL DEALER HAS LED US TO BELIEVE HE WOULD TRADE BUT WILL NOT FOLLOW THROUGH, I FIRMLY BELIEVE HE DOES NOT WANT THIS VEHICLE BACK. HE SAID IT WAS A JUNK DEAL. IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR HIM TO SELL US. I BELIEVE THIS BRAUN HONDA...
I HAVE A 2010 HONDA ODYSSEY WITH 15,000 MILES ON IT. IN AUGUST OF 2011 I NOTICED THAT IT WAS EASILY DRIFTING TO THE RIGHT AND SO HAD IT REALIGNED AT A LOCAL HONDA DEALER. THIS DID NOT SOLVE THE DRIFTING PROBLEM. SO I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER WHO ROTATED THE FRONT TIRES AND ALSO CHECKED FOR TIRE PRESSURE AND WEAR. ROAD CROWN ALSO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT SINCE THE DRIFT IS NOTICEABLE EVEN ON FLAT SURFACES SUCH AS PARKING LOTS. SINCE THEN I HAVE TAKEN THE VAN IN THREE MORE TIMES TO THE SAME DEALER WHO INSISTS THAT EVERYTHING IS WITHIN FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS. I HAVE ALSO TAKEN IT TO ANOTHER HONDA DEALER WHO CHECKED THE ALIGNMENT AND ROTATED THE TIRES FRONT TO BACK. THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS AND I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT SAFETY AND THE IMMENSE DRIVER FATIGUE CAUSED FROM HAVING TO CONSTANTLY CORRECT...
VEHICLE PULLS RIGHT AND/OR LEFT DEPENDING ON WHICH WAY YOU TURN INTO A CURVE, ESPECIALLY WHEN ROUNDING CURVES AT HIGH SPEEDS ON THE FREEWAY/HIGHWAY. IT HAS REQUIRED MULTIPLE WHEEL ALIGNMENTS WHICH REALLY DON'T HELP. NOW IT HAS ISSUES WITH STEERING WHEN AT SLOW SPEEDS, PARTICULARLY IN PARKING LOTS AND/OR GOING IN/OUT OF DRIVEWAYS, MAKING LOUD CLUNKING NOISES.I RECEIVED NOTICES REGARDING UPDATES FOR WHICH I TOOK THE VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER TO COMPLETE. THIS DID NOT HELP WITH THE STEERING ISSUES. WHEN DRIVING LONG DISTANCES IT WILL CAUSE ARM FATIGUE DUE TO FIGHTING TO KEEP THE VEHICLE IN THE CORRECT LANE. I ALMOST HAD A HEAD ON COLLISION ON HIGHWAY 95 ( 2 LANE HWY) IN NEVADA DUE TO THE CONSTANT PULLING AND FLOATING. I'VE BEEN TOLD IT HAS TO DO WITH THE ROAD CONDITIONS, MY DRIVING, ETC. CAR PULLS TO RIGHT AFTER MAKING A RIGHT TURN. IF LAST TURN WAS TO THE LEFT CAR DRIVES STRAIGHT. WHEN PULLING TO THE RIGHT IS PULLS HARD ENOUGH THAT IS WILL CAUSE FATIGUE IN YOUR ARMS AFTER AWHILE OF DRIVING. ALSO IT YOU ALLOW IT THE CAR WILL CHANGE LANES IN LESS THAN 3 SECONDS. THE CAR HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP 6 TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM WITHOUT BEING CORRECTED. THEY HAVE ROTATED TIRES, REALIGNMENT, REPLACED STEERING RACK, REPLACE BOTH UPPER STRUT BEARINGS, ALL WITHOUT FIXING THE PROBLEM. THIS CAR IN THIS CONDITION IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE BUT WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO USE IT. WE ARE TO MEET WITH THE HONDA REP. NEXT WEEK FOR THE SECOND TIME. AT 7000 MILES, THE TRANSMISSION MADE A VERY LOUD GRINDING AND RATTLING NOISE, SHAKING THE VEHICLE, WHEN SHIFTING FROM R TO D. THIS WAS REPEATED AT 25,000 MILES SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER THE SOFTWARE UPGRADE. IN JULY OF 2010, VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT IN FOR MEMORY STEERING, THEY REPLACED THE RIGHT STRUT. NOVEMBER OF 2010, THE VEHICLE STEERING IS UNSTABLE AT LOW SPEEDS WHEN TURNING LEFT. THE SENSATION IS EITHER OVER-ACTIVITY OF THE POWER STEERING PUMP OR UNDER-ACTIVITY. VEHICLE SEEMS VERY UNSTABLE UNDER LOW SPEED DRIVING CONDITIONS, ESPECIALLY ON BUMPY ROADS. VEHICLE TAKEN TO DEALER, THEY COULD NOT IDENTIFY ANYTHING ABNORMAL. *TR
