Recall 17V090000 — EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:LINES AND FITTINGS

| 603 vehicles affected

Defect: Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2017 Cyclone and Road Warrior toy haulers equipped with a Furrion cook top. The liquid propane (LP) hose that is connected to the cook top may be angled incorrectly, causing excessive pressure on the hose fitting and the gas valve, potentially resulting in a propane leak.

Consequence: A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Heartland will notify owners, and dealers will install a flexible gas connector from the cook top to the LP hose, free of charge. The recall began on March 6, 2017. Owners may contact Heartland customer service at 1-877-262-8032. Heartland's number...

3 of 4 Sendel T07 rims had cracks in the rim spokes. Yes it is available for inspection. 1 tire overheated and delaminated at highway speed and after further inspection of remaining rims replaced them before tire damage occurred. Had I not inspected the remaining rims it could have caused a major accident resulting in injury or death. I had TPMS sensors installed but due to not having it blow out there was no warnings. I just happened to see it happen in my mirror and immediately pulled off. I have sent pictures to the manufacturer and they are being reviewed. This is a MAJOR safety concern.
#11480625 | TRAILER HITCHES | | N/A miles
I was in the process of unhitching my trailer from my tow vehicle. The safety chains were still connected to my vehicle at this time. Once the hitch cleared the ball, the trailer rolled back slightly and the safety chains tore away from the trailer chassis. The safety chains as well as where they are bolted onto the chassis should have withstood what occured, given the fact the chains/mounting points are supposed to be strong enough to support not only the weight of my tongue(1300 lbs) as well as the force created if the trailer were to become unhitched while in transit.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 HEARTLAND CYCLONE 3611. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING USED DURING A FAMILY ROAD TRIP, THE TIRE BLEW OUT. THE CONTACT WENT TO GET THE TIRE CHANGED AND FOUND OUT THAT ALL FOUR RIMS WERE FRACTURED. THE SPRING INSIDE THE RIMS WERE FRACTURED AND THE SPRINGS ON THE SUSPENSION WERE SAGGING. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE COULD NOT HAUL AS MUCH WEIGHT AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAUL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THE RIMS WERE REPLACED. NEW SPRINGS WERE ALSO ORDERED TO BE INSTALLED BY THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE AND VIN WERE UNKNOWN. *BF *TR
