I bought this motorcycle brand new on [XXX]. Within the first couple of hours of riding I noticed that the motorcycle was crooked, in other words the front and rear tires and windshield etc did not appear to line up. After riding about 40 mi I was uncomfortable with a motorcycle that was not tracking straight and worried it might be dangerous. I took it back to the dealer. It has been there over a week. They confirmed that a manufacturing defect in the front frame is causing the motorcycle to be crooked. I investigated forums for this motorcycle and found out this is a known problem. I think it is unsafe that Harley-Davidson and their dealers are continuing to sell a motorcycle with such a severe problem as a mis-welded front frame assembly. I hope the NHTSA prompts Harley to do the right thing recall these motorcycles and properly repair them. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My Pan America completely shut down on two occasions. One time at speed another event,in traffic. The motorcycle just shut down causing me to drop it to one side and the other time I made it to the shoulder. The motorcycle is brand new with only 200 miles and two catastrophic failures
