Under warranty with 4500 odometer miles. Front end shudders terribly when applying front brakes, especially when braking hard. Dealer service center said front brake rotors are warped and out of spec. No accident yet but Harley Davidson is refusing to fix the brake problem under warranty, stating brake rotors are a wear item not covered under the basic warranty. It would be covered if I had purchased a higher level warranty. This is a well known and reported problem with many Harley Davidson models. Parts cost to repair this dangerous condition is nearly $600. I will replace the parts myself rather than pay the dealer to do so.

The bike was on motion at 50 mph, fortunately on a rural road with no traffic. There was a sudden drastic decrease in engine power and no throttle response. Trouble lights went off. Was able to safely pull over to the side of the road and turn the bike completely off. Multiple DCTs thrown. After about 10 minutes the bike restarted, throttle response resumed. I took it directly to the dealer and they said that "it happens, just watch it. If it returns, come back and we will look at it closer." I later learned that this is referred to s "limp mode" and it is supposed to be a safety feature. If this were to happen in heavy traffic, there is nothing safe about it! Internet research and forum queries reveal this is a more common issue than I realized.

The plastic fairing/dashboard installed on the motorcycle is not aligned to the steering handle bars when sitting square on the motorcycle. The fairing appears to be crooked and tilted to one side such that it causes concern while riding because it gives the illusion that one is not riding in a straight line and drifting causing the rider(myself in this case) to feel unsafe. Seems like the fairing is design defect from the injection moulding process. This is the case on all the 2022/2023 models that were looked at by me and acknowledged by the sales and service staff at the dealership where the motorcycle was purchased. The service staff tried to fix the issue but could not and said that Harley davidson is aware but has not issued any guidelines to remedy this issue.
