I HAVE BEEN HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THE STABILITY TRACK/REDUCED ENGINE POWER COMING ON. I WILL BE DRIVING AND THEN THE REDUCED ENGINE POWER WITH AN EXCLAMATION MARK POPS UP, MY CAR SPEED DROPS AND THEN THE CAR CUTS OFF. THE CAR WOULD CRANK BACK UP AFTER SITTING FOR A WHILE. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS, I FOUND THAT SEVERAL OTHER GMC, CHEVY AND CADILLACS HAD THIS SAME ISSUE AND WERE GIVEN THE RUN AROUND BY GMC WHEN TRYING TO HAVE IT FIXED. THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THOSE VEHICLES BUT NOT THE TERRAIN. I HAVE HAD THE THROTTLE BODY CLEANED LIKE SUGGESTED AND THAT DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM OCCURS NO MATTER IF I AM ON THE HIGHWAY OR REGULAR STREETS. BEING A SINGLE PARENT OF 3 AND LEGAL GUARDIAN OF 1 GRANDCHILD, I DON'T HAVE MONEY TO KEEP TRYING TO REPAIR THIS ISSUE. EACH TIME THE VEHICLE WAS IN AND IDLING SITUATION RED LIGHT, IN A FAST FOOD DRIVE THRU, HEAVY TRAFFIC, OR IF I FORGOT SOMETHING, LEFT THE CAR RUNNING, AND WENT INTO THE HOUSE TO GET WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, ESPECIALLY IF IT TOOK ME 4-5 MINUTES TO FIND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND RETURN TO THE CAR.
