WITHIN 24 HRS OF BUYING THE VEHICLE MY EXHAUST SYSTEM FELL OFF GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. ALL THE LIGHTS BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WORKS ON THE DASHBOARD. WHEN YOU STOP OR ACCELERATE THE DRIVER'S SEAT MOVES FORWARD OR BACKWARDS SLIGHTLY. TRACTION CONTROL DOES NOT WORK AFTER THE SECOND WEEK OF OWNING IT. WHEN RECEIVING FOR LOANER VEHICLES ALL OF THEM DID NOT HAVE WORKING ENGINE LIGHTS. *TR
SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THIS NEW 2007 GMC ACADIA. MOST PREVALENT IS THE FAILURE OF THE GAS GAUGE NOT READING THE GAS READING CORRECTLY. 1ST TIME NOTICED AND TAKEN FOR SERVICE WAS 3 MO. OLD. THE GAS GAUGE READS (E) WHEN I'VE JUST FILLED UP THE TANK. DEALER REPLACED 02 SENSORS. 1 MO LATER EXPERIENCE SAME ISSUE. GAS GAUGE READS (E) EVEN WHEN TANK IS FULL. TAKEN BACK TO DEALER AND THIS TIME REPLACE (2) O2 SENSORS AND THE "SENDING UNIT". 2 DAYS LATER, WITH THE GAS GAUGE READING AT HALF FULL, THE CAR LUNGES FORWARD INTO ANOTHER GEAR ON FREEWAY IN TRAFFIC, AND STALLS. CANNOT TURN CAR ON - ALL WARNING LIGHTS ON. TOWED TO DEALER. NOW STATES THAT I NEED A WHOLE NEW GAS TANK BECAUSE THE "BAFFLE" IS BROKEN? STILL AT THE DEALER AND IS UNRESOLVED. THIS CAR IS UNSAFE.
