TRAILER IS RATED AT 9600# HAS 4400# AXLES INSTALLED. SPRINGS, SHACKLES AND BOLTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. LATEST FAILURE WAS A HUB BREAK WHILE UNDERWAY CAUSING LEFT REAR WHEEL TO LOCKUP. THIS TRAVEL TRAILER CAUGHT FIRE IN OUR DRIVEWAY AND BURNT. NO APPLIANCES WERE ON. THERE HAVE BEEN 3 FIRE INVESTIGATORS THAT HAVE SEARCH FOR THE CAUSE AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO IDENTIFY HOW OR WHY IT BURNT. WE OWNED THE TT FOR AROUND 550 DAYS, IT WAS IN THE REPAIR SHOP FOR AROUND 150 DAYS AND WE USED IT FOR 30 DAYS. BECAUSE THE INVESTIGATORS COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE ABSOLUTE CAUSE OF THE FIRE, THE MANUFACTURER CLAIMS THAT THEY ARE NOT AT FAULT. TRAILERS DO NOT SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST UNLESS THERE IS A DEFECT IN THE MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP.
#11004967 | EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY | | 100 miles
SUPPORT BRACKET HOLDING 60 GALLON FRESH WATER TANK BROKE CAUSING TANK TO FALL OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF TRAILER. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION BEING TOWED. IF IT DID DOT HANG UPON A CORNER OF THE TRAILER IT WOULD OF FELL COMPLETELY OUT CAUSE A POTENTIAL COLLISION HAZARD. *TT
