The contact owns a 2015 Bounder Class A RV built on a 2015 Ford F-53 Chassis. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the engine made an abnormal ticking sound. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving. The RV was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the camshaft needed to be replaced. The RV was not repaired. The contact related the failure to Ford Campaign Number: 17B30. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 29,000.
