2002 FORD 350 CREW CAB 4X4 - 52,000 MILES - BLOWN SPARK PLUG AT 42,000 AND NOW AGAIN AT 52,000 MILES. *NM
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TRAVELING 30 MPH, A BANG WAS HEARD FROM THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS IDLING ROUGH AND PULLED OVER. UPON INSPECTION, THE CONTACT FOUND A SPARK PLUG ON TOP OF THE ENGINE. THE DEALERSHIP WAS ALERTED, BUT THE CONTACT IS REPAIRING THE VEHICLE.
DT: THE CONSUMER STATED THAT 2002 FORD F350 STALLED AND ACCELERATED WHEN THE BRAKES WERE ON. THE TRUCK STALLED INTERMITTENTLY. THIS HAPPENED A COUPLE OF TIMES A WEEK. ACCELERATION WAS HAPPENING ALL THE TIME WHEN THE CONSUMER WAS AT A STOP LIGHT. THIS WAS HAPPENING FOR A YEAR. THE CONSUMER HAS NOT HAD THE TRUCK CHECKED NOR INSPECTED IN THE YEAR THAT HE WAS HAVING THESE PROBLEMS. THE CONSUMER CONTACTED THE DEALER AND THE CONSUMER SAID THAT HE WOULD TAKE THE TRUCK SOMETIME NEXT WEEK FOR CHECKUP. THE CONSUMER HAS NOT CONTACTED FORD. THE VEHICLE WAS STALLING AT LOW SPEEDS 0-20 MPH. *AK
CONSUMER WAS TOLD THAT INJECTORS WERE FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. WHEN REPLACING THE DEALER FOUND KEEPER PIN WAS MISSING. THE SERVICE DEALER REPLACED THE MISSING ONE WITH A USED ONE FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE CONTINUE TO SMOKE AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER DETERMINED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *NM
WHEN THE GAS PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR FOR FULL THROTTLE THE VEHICLE'S ENGINE DIES. *NLM
THE VEHICLE STALLED, WHICH CAUSED CONSUMER TO ABRUPTLY PULL OVER.*JB
