I purchased this truck new in 2013 and it has only been serviced by Ford, except for an Air Lift Suspension Kit install to allow load leveling when towing. Low miles: 54484 actual. No collision damage, original paint. Date of repair:06/25/2025. Jenkins Ford RO#[XXX]. My truck has a Supercab (Extended Cab) with short rear doors that open to the rear. Both of these rear doors failed within 5 minutes of each other. Specifically, the inside door handles and opening levers on the forward facing side of the doors failed. This is absolutely a safety hazard because a Child, Senior, Handicapped person, pet, etc., would be trapped from making an emergency exit in case of accident or fire. A more athletic person may be able to pull themselves over the from bench seat to exit, but still delaying the exit and dangerous. There were no warnings to alert anyone of the...
Today, while my wife was exiting my F250, the passenger A pillar handle failed and my wife fell to the ground. She sustained injuries to her hand and leg.
EXPERIENCED 'DEATH WOBBLE' WHILE DRIVING A HIGHWAY 287 (SAME SPEED NO STOP AND GO WITH TRAFFICS). TRUCK WAS SUDDENLY VIOLENTLY SHAKING AND WOBBLING CAUSED MY HUSBAND ALMOST LOST CONTROL. HE WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER THE TUCK BUT SCARED HIM TO DEATH. WE HAD IT TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP AND THEY CONFIRMED THE DEATH WOBBLE PROVIDED A QUOTE.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DESIGN OF THE FLATBED TRAPPED WATER AND SALT, WHICH CAUSED THE HEAT SHIELD AND EXHAUST ATTACHED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE VEHICLE TO FAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: CAS-21767132. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
SUNROOF BROKE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO CLOSE. THE PLASTIC RAILS USED TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE SUNROOF BROKE AND THE SUNROOF IS STUCK IN THE OPEN POSITION.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000.

COLLIED WITH A VEHICLE STOPPING TO MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN. DAMAGES INCLUDE FRAME DAMAGE, SMASHED IN FRONT END. HAD TO KICK THE DRIVER DOOR OPEN TO GET OUT. NO AIRBAGS EVER DEPLOYED. ENDED UP WITH HEAD LACERATIONS. *TR
