THE RADIUS ROD TO THE RIGHT WHEEL FELL OFF, SEPARATED, WHATEVER, WHICH ALLOWED THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL TO GO ITS OWN WAY. THE ABILITY TO STEER THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALLY LOST. WE WERE FORTUNATE IN THAT IT DID NOT SEPARATE WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY SHORTLY BEFORE. THIS VS A CONVERSION VAN, SOLD BY FORD, TO BE CONVERTED FOR HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM COULD APPLY TO ALL MANUFACTURERS VEHICLES THAT USE THE SIMILAR STEERING. WHICH IS JUST ABOUT EVERY VEHICLE ON THE ROAD. *AK
