TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD E-250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPEED CONTROL SWITCH BECAME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO ACTIVATE THE CRUISE CONTROL AND STATED THAT THERE WAS CORROSION ON THE AREA THAT WAS EXPOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
