I have put 3 water pumps in my 2023 ford bronco big bend since buying the bronco brand new put the first one in September 2024 second one in May of 2025 and know February of 2026. Also put two vacuums pumps in 2026 in the same week
I received a recall letter in August 2025 stating there is is possible for fuel injector to crack which may result in fuel accumulating on the top of the engine. The liquid fuel and/or fuel vapor that accumulates near a hot surface, such as a hot engine or exhaust may ignite resulting in an under-hood fire. It has been 6 months and there are still no parts available. I find this to be unacceptable and am worrying about this all the time. I personally know someone who's Bronco sport caught on fire and destroyed the car. It could most certainly destroy more than just the car. I don't think this should be taken lightly and should be resolved immediately. I mean I can't even sell the car who would want to buy a car that has a known fire safety recall or how could I sell it with knowing about...
Dear Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, I am submitting this letter in support of a Texas Lemon Law complaint regarding my vehicle, which has experienced repeated mechanical failures that substantially impair its use, value, and safety. The vehicle has been subject to multiple manufacturer recalls and remains in the repair shop at this time. It is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle has exhibited a persistent knocking sound from the engine or drivetrain area, intermittent loss of power, and a brake system defect in which the brakes stick unexpectedly. These conditions have continued despite multiple repair attempts by an authorized dealership, including repairs related to manufacturer recalls. These defects constitute a serious safety concern. The loss of power occurred while driving and created a hazardous situation by preventing the vehicle from accelerating as expected in traffic. The brake sticking condition impaired my ability to maintain safe control of the...
On August 16, 2025 while accelerating on an on ramp to the PA turnpike my vehicle stopped acceleration which nearly caused an accident as I was trying to merge on turnpike and my vehicle stopped. A few days before my screen went black. I have had issues with this vehichle for the back up camera and the collision warning coming on when there was nothing near the vehicle (this was corrected by the dealership). I took my vehicle to the dealership on 8/25/25 concerning the black screen and loss of acceleration and was told no error code came up on the event.
We received the recall notice NHTSA Recall Number25V467 and called both the dealer and Ford to inquire about our son's safety traveling from RI to FL and the potential safety issues related to this recall. Ford's only advice was to "hope" nothing happens before they have the parts to fix the fuel injector safety issue with no idea of the timeframe for the remedy. It is unbelievable that a company can alert customers to a known safety issue with no recommendations to ensure the safety of drivers or planned remedy. When a potential health or safety issue is identified in other industries, the product is immediately pulled from the market and customers are told to immediately discontinue the use or consumption. Why are automobile companies allowed to recommend to consumers that they continue to drive a car with a known fire risk until a remedy is in place? At a...

The vehicle shifted into NEUTRAL and the Park Break engaged while driving in Eco Mode at 25-30 mph. This incident happened twice prior to the following incident and within minutes apart. Parked and exited the vehicle for about 10 minutes. Entered vehicle, applied the break and ENGINE START button, vehicle did not start. The brake felt hard and the following warnings appeared: SERVICE VEHICLE SOON, CROSS TRAFFIC SYSTEM FAULT, FULL ACCESSORY POWER ACTIVE, PARK AID FAULT, PRE COLLISION ASSIST NOT AVAILABLE, SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC. I exited the vehicle for a few minutes, returned and attempted to start the engine again and it did turn on.
I have had gas in the oil 3 different times now. I had went over to lafontaine on [XXX] , and they said it was because I was 500 miles before an oil change. I knew that gas and oil didn’t mix so I fought for the car to stay at the dealership and the whole time I was being told I was crazy and not to waste the technicians time after the 2nd time of it being there. I then for the 3rd time went to Ford dealership located in Fenton, and at that time they could not indicate the cause, but told me they sold that car and there was various issues before it got traded in by someone else so just to beware. I am now dealing with my engine shaking and rattling making a really unpleasant sound(I have a video.) and without even pulling out the...
In September my dad was driving my car in eco mode and the wrench light came on. I got an alert in my ford app that there was a transmission problem and lack of power issue. My dad and husband were in CO at the time with my car. They took it to a dealership and the light had gone off they said it was pulling turbo codes. They drove it back to AR and I took it in the shop and they said nothing was wrong and couldn’t find an issue. I did have the recall for loss of power fixed in May. When the light came on in the car in September there was a noticeable loss of power. I requested the redo the recall but they declined. I have not had a light come back on since then.
I was able to start my vehicle in my driveway, without the key. Unknown to me at the time, the key was in fact in my house, in my bedroom, not in my purse, or on my body. But I was able to drive 15 miles without that key. Fortunately the automatic start/stop was engaged, if it hadn't been I could've been stranded at an intersection or worse, had an accident stalled at an intersection. Once the car was turned off it would not restart, it said "no key detected". I was left stranded in someone's driveway until my son drove to my home to retrieve the key. This should never happen, the car should never have been able to start with the key inside my house.
I fear for my safety in my vehicle because it’s been a lot of trouble since I first bought it. The vehicle reduces power and won’t let me accelerate even though the agency said they had fixed it already, the auto stop malfunctions and messes with the vehicle’s engine. Now that this new incident happened with the engine/gasoline that the car started shaking and just wouldn’t turn on I am very concerned. The agency claims it was contaminated gas but I went to the gas station to file a police report and the gas at the gas station was completely fine. There was a recall on the “fuel injectors cracking, causing gasoline or vapors to leak at a high rate onto hot surfaces in the engine compartment.” -nhtsa and I believe this is what might be wrong with my vehicle even though it doesn’t come out with the vin. I...
Vehicle has had continuous issues with loss of oil pressure. Vehicle has been to ford service dept multiple times and is still uncorrected. Issue arises when placed under mild to hard acceleration conditions, ie passing a vehicle on interstate conditions. Problem is able to be duplicated when at operating temperatures. Once oil leashed is lost, the vehicle goes into limp mode with an illuminated engine light and low oil pressure warning message in the display screen. Message will clear and vehicle will go back into normal operation once the vehicle has been shut down and restarted. The engine light will remain illuminated. This issue almost resulted in a motor vehicle collision while enroute to work this morning trying to avoid a semi that rapidly changed lanes to avoid another accident. When I went to accelerated to avoid the collision, I lost power and was almost hit.
The contact owns a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start as needed. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
Vehicle stopped running without any warnings. Lost power, power steering and I don't know what else.
While driving on I-95 southbound, the vehicle shut off unexpectedly. This occurred without any warnings, no warning lights in dashboard flashed. This occurred for a total of three times. I had no power, no braking capabilities, no control over the vehicle.
My wife and I bought a brand-new 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks edition in Jully of 2023. After about a month of ownership and less than 1000 miles, we noticed when we would press the accelerator, the vehicle would take 5-6 seconds to react to the accelerator. When it finally did, the car would rev up to about 6000rpm and lurch forward. We took it to the dealer and they assured us there was nothing wrong and just reset the car's computer. A month or so later we noticed the same issue with acceleration, but this time the car also completely stalled. This happened to my wife multiple times in the middle of a busy intersection. We brought the car back to the dealership and they stated the engine was misfiring and replaced a sparkplug. They returned the vehicle again to us with their assurances we wouldn't have any...
Our brand new 2023 Ford Bronco Sport was destroyed by a spontaneous under-the-hood fire that occurred within thirty days of delivery and with less than 50 miles on the odometer. An independent examination found this consistent with a fuel injector fire. Ford Motor Company has publicly acknowledged similar problems with the Bronco Sport models and purportedly has recalled and "fixed" all effected vehicles. We notified Ford of this incident, that the production and delivery dates of our Bronco Sport were well AFTER these recalls had been completed, and that the VIN of our Bronco Sport does NOT appear on Ford's recall registry. In the overwhelming interest of public safety, we have urged Ford Motor Company to recover this vehicle and conduct its own investigation. Despite awareness and prior efforts by the Ford Motor Company to identify and correct defects in the design of the Bronco Sport, the catastrophic failure of...
Car abruptly stopped accellerating on the highway, check engine light started blinking, I got over to the side of the road and the car shut down. It had to be towed to a Ford Dealership and they need to replace the entire engine.
The contact owns a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the contact heard an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed by a dealer and confirmed that the engine and turbo charger was blown, and oil was coming out of the exhaust. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts not being available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and was unable to estimate time of arrival for parts. The failure mileage was approximately 250.
