2024 FLEETWOOD FLAIR Engine Problems

On Friday July 18, we left Burbank at approximately 1:15 pm. After driving about 20 miles we began noticing a burning and exhaust smell. Thinking it was due to recent fires in the area we continued on for about another 10 minutes or so with the burning smell increasing. We decided to pull over and investigate when we found a safe place to pull over on shoulder of northbound side of the 14 Freeway near Acton. It was then we noticed the damage to the storage compartment door and interior areas of coach. We immediately turned off engine and called for roadside assistance. It appears that there was some sort of extension on the exhaust pipe that became disconnected and the exhaust was discharging underneath the vehicle and causing heat damage and melting to various plastic, figerglass and aluminum components (black tank was partially melted, storage compartment wall and floors...
