MY SAFETY COMPLAINT ON OUR 2011 DODGE RAM 3500 TRUCK SHOULD ALREADY BE IN FILE! WE HAVE HAD SAFETY ISSUES WITH THIS TRUCK EVER SINCE PURCHASING IT AS A USED VEHICLE FROM RAMEY'S IN BECKLEY, WV. THERE ARE AT PRESENT THREE (3) RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE, OF WHICH N49 APPEARS TO BE THE MOST LIFE-THREATENING, WHICH WE WERE NEVER NOTIFIED ABOUT, NOR WERE WE EVER NOTIFIED ABOUT THE BUYBACK ON THIS TRUCK. WE ACCIDENTALLY FOUND OUT. WE WERE NEVER NOTIFIED OF ANYTHING CONCERNING THESE PROBLEMS, PROBABLY BECAUSE WE PURCHASED IT USED. THE PROBLEM WITH THE TIE ROD, WHICH COULD CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE CRASH IS NOT THE ONLY LIFE-THREATENING RECALL. THE RECALL WITH THE FUEL HEATER COULD POSSIBLY CAUSE A FIRE. WE HAVE, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, NOTICED SMOKE COMING OUT FROM UNDER THE HOOD WHILE REFUELING THE TRUCK, AS WELL AS A NOTICEABLE SHAKING AND VIBRATING IN...

AUGUST 2013 WE BOUGHT AFTERMARKET WHEELS FOR OUR 2011 DODGE RAM 2500. JULY 6, 2014 WHILE WASHING TRUCK, WE NOTICED SIX (6) LUG NUTS AND STEMS/BOLT MISSING. TWO MISSING ON REAR TIRE AND TWO MISSING ON BOTH FRONT TIRES. CONTACT OUR TIRE COMPANY TO GET THE PROBLEM REPAIRED AND HE STATED THAT CHRYSLER HAS THAT PART, THE LUG NUT BOLTS/STEMS, IS ON A NATIONWIDE BACK ORDER AND DID NOT HAVE AN ESTIMATE TO WHEN THEY WOULD BE AVAILABLE. NOW, I DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING A TRUCK WITH 6 LUG NUTS MISSING AND CANNOT GET IT REPAIRED. ALSO, WHEN I GET IT REPAIRED, WILL IT HAPPEN AGAIN? PROBABLY, THAT'S WHY THE PART IS ON BACK ORDER. *TR

WE RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN THE MAIL AROUND THE 1ST OF THE YEAR FOR THE LEFT TIE ROD ON OUR TRUCK, WE CALLED RENO DODGE RIGHT AWAY, THEY PUSHED US BACK A FEW WEEKS, WE CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE THEN AND SAID THEY'D CALL US, THEY NEVER DID, NOW MONTHS LATER WE CALLED AGAIN, AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE MONTHS BEFORE THEY COULD GET US IN. WE ARE CONCERNED THAT THIS PROBLEM COULD HARM OUR FAMILY SINCE THIS IS OUR PRIMARY FAMILY VEHICLE. *TR

WHILE BACKING INTO A PARKING SPACE, THE TIE ROD BROKE CAUSING BOTH FRONT TIRES TO TILT INWARD. I HAPPENED TO BE AT A DEALER'S LOT AND HAD TO HAVE IT REPAIRED AT THIS LOCATION. UPON CONTACTING MY DODGE DEALERSHIP I WAS INFORMED OF THE RECALL AND THEN CONTACTED CHRYSLER WHERE I WAS TOLD - ON THREE SEPARATE CALLS - THIS WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL. I'VE SINCE FOUND A PUBLISHED NOTICE BY CHRYSLER, STATING MY EXACT MAKE & MODEL AND THE EXACT TIE ROD BREAKAGE AS BEING PART OF A RECALL. CHRYSLER HAS DENIED REIMBURSEMENT OF MY REPAIR APPROXIMATELY $600 ON A $50,000 TRUCK WITH ONLY 40,000 MILES. AT THE TIME OF THIS INCIDENT MYSELF AND A PASSENGER HAD JUST EXITED OFF A MAJOR INTERSTATE WHERE THE SPEED LIMIT IS 70 MPH AND I WAS TOWING A BOAT. I CAN NO LONGER TRUST DODGE VEHICLES, THEIR CUSTOMER CARE DUE...
