STOCK TIRES FAILED AT 18K. REPLACED ALL FOUR TIRES AND RIMS SINCE IT DAMAGED ONE OF THE WHEELS DURING A BLOWOUT. *TR
I HAVE A 2002 DODGE RAM 2500 WITH ALUMINUM WHEELS. BOTH LEFT SIDE TIRES DEVELOPED LEAKS DUE TO CRACKS IN THE FACTORY WHEELS. HAD THE LEAKS BEEN ON THE RIGHT SIDE I MAY NOT HAVE NOTICED THEM GOING DOWN AND IT COULD HAVE BEEN RATHER DANGEROUS. WHEN CHECKING FOR REPLACEMENT RIMS I WAS TOLD AT TWO LARGE JUNK YARDS THAT DODGE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE ALUMINUM RIMS AND WOULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. I HAVE BOTH RIMS WITH CRACKS. I CURRENTLY HAVE TWO STEEL RIMS ON AND TWO ALUMINUM. I AM UNCERTAIN ABOUT LEAVING THE TWO ALUMINUM RIMS ON AS I AM NOT SURE IF THEY WILL ALSO FAIL. *TR
