Severe shaking at 60mph and above. Numerous attempts to correct the issue through dealership, private mechanics with balancing and high speed balancing did not correct the issue. It was determined through several mechanics that the ABS Module is no longer working and could contribute to the shaking of the vehicle. The dealership advised the manufacturer does not make these parts anymore. I tried purchasing a rebuilt ABS and it did not work as it was not compatible with my VIN. This is the second Dodge Journey I have owned and both have had the shaking issue. My automatic braking system and cruise control will no longer work as a result of the ABS failure, which makes this very dangerous to drive. I only have around 90,000 miles on this car and planned to keep it long term, but finding that I cannot get parts. I have also always had many...

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN 62-74 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHOOK AND A LOUD NOISE WAS HEARD UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. ALSO, WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE'S REAR END TENDED TO SWAY TOWARDS THE RIGHT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE'S DRIVER'S SEAT FAILED TO LOCK IN THE DESIRED POSITION. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DIRECT CHRYSLER DODGE (LOCATED AT 495 W LEE HWY, WYTHEVILLE, VA 24382, 276-521-2620) WHERE A FRONT AND REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT WAS PERFORMED. THE DEALER ALSO REPLACED THE DRIVER'S SEAT AND LATCH, STRUTS, AND SWAY BAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE NOISE FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE REMAINED, THE SHAKING PERSISTED, AND THE SEAT STILL FAILED TO LOCK IN PLACE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

VEHICLE MAKES A TICKING NOISE WHILE PLAYING THE RADIO AND OR DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND GOING OVER 60 MPH. THERE IS ALSO LOUD BANGING NOISE ON THE DRIVER SIDE PASSENGER SEAT AS IF AIR OR SOMETHING IS HITTING THE VEHICLE. TIRED DON'T HOLD PRESSURE AND DRIVING AT TIMES SEEMS UNEVEN OR OFF TRACK AS WELL.
