My car has had 2 repairs for fuel pump relay issues. 2014 and 2020. recently, I noticed while driving my car will stall while accelerating on the highway. I had to pull over into emergency lane 3 times during 1 trip before, because the car stalled while driving. Just recently I noticed and took videos/pictures of the car going 40 mph but the RPM moving sporadically between 0-7000. It has always felt like a fuel pump issue but dodge servicers does not know whats going on. There was never a warning light until it stalled recently. Red lightning bolt popped up. I have pictures if that also.
Engine stopped while driving and steering was pulling to the right..was able to start back up and park it..has p0303 code..and p0300 code pending...checked number 3 spark plugs. And engine seems to be burning oil..cleaned up spark plugs and white smoke is coming out driver side exhaust pipe..will try changing pvc valve next..
This SUV has had 2 recalls for the same fuel system relay problem, And now after approximately 2or3 yrs ago, and now it's doing the same exact thing again, you'll be driving down the road and it will just shut off and a red lighting built will show up, lucky we had a safe place to pull off the road and get stopped, but this is a very dangerous situation for my wife and kids to be in
vehicle keeps staling on road while operating, AND has THE BRAKES SYTEM failure. No brakes, brake booster had failed and also has recall part for brake booster.. the safety of my entire family was put at risk, I almost crashed into traffic. vehicle was taken to local dealership, was told FUEL PUMP relay has recall. no parts available, ONE YEAR LATER, STILL WAITING AND STILL NO PARTS AVAILABLE. VEHICLE HAS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. ITS APPEAR AFTER BRAKES SYSTEM GAVE OUT.
Rear-ended into another vehicle. Car resisted braking
The vehicle shutdown and steering is not responsive. I have to quickly put the vehicle in neutral and power on the vehicle again without getting into an accident.
All current recalls have been performed on this vehicle. While making left and right hand turns after coasting down from a highway speed (55MPH or greater) the vehicle will stall. We will loose all power steering and brakes. No warning lights come on and everything appears normal except the engine is not running. Something in the fuel or electrical system is intermittently failing. I suspect it to be a "Dumb" device. Something that is told to turn on or off but there is no feedback to the computer to set a code when it fails. The vehicle is available for inspection at any time. This started occurring after one of the fuel pump relay recalls. It happens at random and is hard to duplicate, while we do have video of it, the dealer has been unable to duplicate it. The vehicle shows no codes, or anything wrong when it happens....
The dealership sold wrecked vehicle without fixing the engine only the body of vehicle was repaired. Engine failure truck cut off while in traffic almost hit another vehicle. We received notice, by mail, of a safety recall (19V-813) on our Dodge Durango in Jan 2021. We made an appt for 1/13 at Bob Baker Dodge in Carlsbad, CA. Upon arrival, we were told the part was backordered and they would call us when it arrived. Juan Gonzalez was the service advisor we spoke with. In May, after no call, our vehicle began showing signs of the problem. Hesitating, failing to start. We called Juan who stated there were still no parts and he wasn't allowed to keep a list of customers waiting for parts since it would be too extensive. We called Dodge (maybe Mopar) corporate (800-853-1403) on 6/1. Aby gave us a few other dealers to try. After no luck with them, we called back. Tim claimed he would escalate our case and promised someone would call us within 24 hours. After receiving no call, we called...
FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS REPLACED UNDER CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V813000 TO RESOLVE IGNITION TURNOVER ISSUE WHEN STARTING MY CAR. AFTER RECALL WAS FIXED IN JANUARY 2021 THE ISSUE STILL PERSISTS.

THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY (IN MOTION). HAVE HAD IT LOOKED AT AND REPAIRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE HAS A HISTORY OF NOT STARTING AFTER IT HAS BEEN SHUT OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES(STATIONARY). AFTER MANY SERVICE REPAIRS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SPENT THE CAR STILL WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE RECALL CAME OUT NOVEMBER 14, 2019, AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE WASN'T AN AVAILABLE PART FOR THIS RECALL AS OF 12/5/2020.

RECALLED 11/14/2019 V62/NHTSA 19-V813. NO AS OF THIS DATE. DIFFICULT STARTING, HAS STALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN CITY TRAFFIC. HAVE TO WAIT SEVERAL MINUTES AND PRAY IT STARTS. AFRAID ONE OF THESE DAYS IT WILL NOT START, STALL ON THE HIGHWAY AND CAUSE ACCIDENT. HAS BEEN ON GOING SINCE AUGUST AND TODAY AS WELL. NO RESOLUTION AND I AM SCARED
WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 25 MPH, THE NUETRAL LIGHT AT THE AWD HIGH AND LOW SHIFT KNOB LIT UP AND THE VEHICLE STUCK INTO LOW. UPON TRYING TO GET IT TO SHIFT INTO HIGH THE TRANSMISSION STUCK IN NEUTRAL AND WILL NOT MOVE.
I HAD A FUEL PUMP RELAY REPLACED IN 2015, AND HAVE HAD A LOT OF SMALL PROBLEMS WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OVER THE YEARS. ONCE THE VEHICLE PASSED 80,000 MILES THIS YEAR ALL KINDS OF THINGS STARTED HAPPENING. THE COOLING SYSTEM WENT HAYWIRE AND MY AUTO REPAIR SHOP HAD TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR. I'VE BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH MY VEHICLE HESITATING TO START LIKE IT IS NOT GETTING FUEL, AND HAVE TROUBLE ACCELERATING SO I CANNOT PULL OUT IN HEAVY TRAFFIC UNLESS THERE IS A GOOD BREAK WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS HAVING A HEMI V8 ENGINE! I'VE BEEN TOWED TWICE THIS YEAR WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AT ALL BUT THEN IT ENDED UP STARTING WHEN IT GOT TO MY AUTO REPAIR SHOP OR THE DEALER. 2011 DODGE DURANGO CREW AWD 3.6L I HAVE BEEN EXPERICENCING NO START OR STALL OUT ON THE TRUCK. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK TO ANCHORAGE CHRYSLER DODGE IN ANCHORAGE ALASKA FOR FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL REPAIR. THEY STATED THAT OVER THE 3 DAY THEY HAD MY TRUCK THAT IT STARTED EVERY TIME BUT DID STALL OUT TWICE. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO FIX THE RECALL STATING THAT THE NO START ISSUE DID NOT HAPPEN WHILE IN THERE CARE BUT THAT IT DID START AND STALL OUT. IT WAS SUGGESTED TO ME BY THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT NEXT TIME I HAVE THE ISSUE TO HAVE IT TOWED TO ANCHORAGE CHRYSLER DODGE. MY VEHICLE WILL AT RANDOM NOT START OR WILL START AND STALL OUT. THE DEALERSHIP STATES THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH THEY DID STATE THAT IT WOULD START AND STALL OUT FOR THEM.

HAVE TRIED THREE TIME TO GET MCKENNY DODGE TO FIX SAFETY RECALL FOR TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE BUT CONTINUE TO BE TOLD THE PARTS FOR A FIX HAVE NOT BEEN PROVIDED. EARLIER THIS YEAR THE CAR INTERMITTENTLY LOST POWER AND THEY REPLACED THE OIL PUMP ($1432). NOW I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY REPLACED CAM POSITION SENSOR ($280) BUT 'CHECK ENGINE LIGHT' STILL ON AND PROBLEM STILL EXISTS SO NOW THEY WANT TO REPLACE THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH AND OIL FILTER HOUSING FOR OVE $1,000. BUT WITH NO ASSURANCE THAT IT FIXES THE PROBLEM. COULD THE RECALL ISSUE WITH YHE INTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY BE CAUSING THE INTERMITTENT HESITATION. WHY WOULD THIS RECALL THAT COULD CAUSE 'AN INTERMITTENT OR FAILED FUEL PUMP RELAY' THAT COULD 'CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING' NOT BE FIXED AFTER BEING IDENTIFIED OVER A YEAR AGO.

VEHICLE WILL RANDOMLY STOP RUNNING WHILE SITTING AT A STOPLIGHT OR WHEN MAKING A SLOW TURN. WHEN IT HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING I LOOSE POWER STEERING AND HAVE HIT THE CURB.
WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE IT WILL RANDOMLY BEGIN TO STALL WHEN DRIVING AND POWER OFF. ONCE YOU LET YOU SIT IT WILL START RIGHT BACK UP KIND ROUGH AND THEN DRIVE FINE. THEN COUPLE DAYS LATER IT WILL DO IT AGAIN. MY WIFE WAS MAKING A TURN WHEN IT STALLED AND ALMOST GOT T BONED. WE TOOK IT IN FOR THE FUEL PUMP RECALL BUT NO PARTS HAVE BEEN PUSHED OUT FOR THIS RECALL NOR HAVE BEEN MADE. THEY TOLD.US TO JUST KEEP DRIVING IT EVEN THOUGH ITS ASKING G FOR AN ACCIDENT TO HAPPEN. I ASKED FOR A REPLACEMENT CAR AND WAS DENIED AND WAS TOLD I CAN TAKE IT TO ANOTHER DEALER BUT THEY SAID THE SAME THING.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND, LOST POWER AND IT STARTED SLOWING DOWN. I GOT IN THE RIGHT LANE AND COASTED TO SIDE OF ROAD. I CUT ENGINE OFF AND THAT WAS IT. I TRIED TO RE START AND IT JUST KEPT TURNING OVER. IT IT ONLY HAVE 61,522 MILES ON IT. MANCANIC CAME OUT AND SAID IT'S THE FUEL PUMP.
2014 RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE 14V-530 P54 WAS ADDRESSED ACCORDING TO CHRYSLER, BUT WE KEEP ON HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH CAR SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING SUBSEQUENTLY SHUTTING OFF POWER STEERING ASSIST MAKING STEERING ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE, WE HAVE BEEN IN REAL DANGEROUS SITUATIONS TWICE NOW, CHRYSLER DOES NOT FURTHER WANT TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.

MY VEHICLE HAS 69,000 MILES ON IT. IT IS VERY WELL MAINTAINED. RECENTLY I HAVE EXPERIENCED WHEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP THE VEHICLE FOR WHATEVER REASON SHUTS OFF. I HAVE TO PUSH THE IGNITION BUTTON TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND IT RUNS FINE. IT'S SCARY TO THINK THAT YOUR VEHICLE CAN JUST SHUT IT'S OFF WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE DEALERSHIP DOESN'T HAVE AN EXPLANATION AND THERE IS NO RECALL. HOWEVER; THERE ARE MULTIPLE PEOPLE VIA THE INTERNET THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS SAME EVENT. I THINK FODGE SHOULD BE LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE. FUEL RELATED..ELECTRICAL?? LOTS OF QUESTIONS, BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!!! SCARED FOR MY SAFETY!!

THE LAST RECALL THAT WAS PERFORMED WAS THE P54 FUEL RELAY. I BELIEVE THE PROBLEM IS SOMEWHERE IN THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THE REASON I SUSPECT THIS IS BECAUSE THE VEHICLE HAS LOTS OF INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ALARM GOES OFF RANDOMLY FOR NO REASON SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, POWER LOCKS OPEN ON THEIR OWN, VEHICLE HAS DIFFICULTY STARTING AT TIMES AND THEN STARTS RIGHT UP MOST OF THE TIME, AND ALL WITHOUT A WARNING OR ERROR CODE ON THE DASHBOARD. THE MOST RECENT PROBLEM ALMOST KILLED ME AND MY FAMILY THIS MORNING AS THE VEHICLE TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING AND ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT, AGAIN NO ERROR CODES OR WARNINGS. AN INVESTIGATION SHOULD BE OPENED BECAUSE THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AS THE VEHICLE CAN TURN OFF AT ANY MOMENT AND WITHOUT WARNING.
CAR WON'T START SOMETIMES. STALLS OUT WHILE DRIVING.
I HAVE DIFFERENT PROBLEMS, THE AIRBAG WARNING SOMETIME COMES ON, THE CAR DOESN'T START SOMETIMES AND STALL TOO. THE BACK DOOR OPEN WHEN NOBODY IS IN THE CAR. BACKUP CAMERA DOESN'T TURN ON SOMETIMES. THE LEATHER CRACKED IN ALL SEATS. LAST SUNDAY JULY, 23 2017 @ 2:00PM GOT ON FIRE. TOTAL LOSS OF MY VEHICLE.
TAMARA RECALL VEHICLE WON'T START WIPER KEEP GOING ON AND THEY ARE OFF IT HAS A BAD TIPM THE BRAKE SYSTEM MAKES A LOT OF NOISE.
VEHICLE FAILS TO START AND STALLS WHILE IN MOTION. BROUGHT VEHICLE TO DEALER TO ISSUE SAFETY RECALL TO INSTALL EXTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY. DEALER WAS UNABLE TO CORRECT ISSUE AND VEHICLE STILL FAILS TO START AND STALLS WHEN DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING.
RADIO STARTED GOING OFF AND ON ONCE THE CAR WAS PARKED STARTED SMOKING UNDER HOOD AND THEN WOULD NOT START AT ALL HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO A GARAGE. GARAGE ALTERNATOR CAUGHT ON FIRE ORDER NEW ALTERNATOR ALSO IT RUINED THE BATTERY NEW BATTERY PUT IN STILL WOULD NOT START HAD TO TAKE IT TO A DODGE DEALER NOW I HAVE A BILL FOR $1500.00 I HAVE TRYING TO PAY AS MUCH AS I COULD AFFORD EACH WEEK BUT NOT GETTING FAR I NEED SOMETHING,I REALLY NEED MY CAR BACK
WHILE DRIVING ON A MAIN ROAD AND SLOWING TO TURN, MY CAR HAS STALLED ON ME 3 DIFFERENT TIMES, THE LAST TIME BEING TODAY 8/9/16.
MY VEHICLE PUSH TO START SYSTEM STICKS AND THE VEHICLE TAKES LONG ATTEMPTING TO START. MY VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING HAS GONE DEAD ON ME ALTHOUGH THE DASH IS STILL LITE RADIO PLAYING. THE STEERING WHEEL STIFFENS AND THE BRAKES GET HARD. I HAVE TO STRUGGLE TO PULL OVER AND STOP IN ORDER TO PLACE THE CAR BACK IN NEUTRAL OR PARK IN ORDER TO START IT AGAIN. IT HAS STALLED WHILE IN MOTION, WHILE SLOWING DOWN FOR A RED LIGHT, WHILE MAKING A TURN. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL NEAR MISSES OF OTHER CARS, CURBS, AND DITCHES. I USE THIS CAR EVERY DAY TO TRANSPORT MYSELF AND MY CHILDREN. I HAVE HAD THIS CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP NUMEROUS TIMES, HAVE HAD THE TIPM BYPASS AND THE CAR STILL HARD STARTS AND STALLS DESPITE THE RECALLS. ON AN INTERMITTENT, BUT REGULAR BASIS, THE VEHICLE (2011 DODGE DURANGO) STALLS WHEN SLOWING INTO A TURN OR APPROACHING A STOPLIGHT. ONCE THE VEHICLE STALLS, THE STEERING COLUMN LOCKS MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO TURN THE VEHICLE. THIS HAS RESULTED IN SEVERAL CLOSE CALLS WITH OTHER VEHICLES AND EVEN OBJECTS (CURBS, LIGHT POLES, ETC.) I USE THIS VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT MY CHILDREN ON A DAILY BASIS AND AM CONCERNED FOR THEIR SAFETY AS WELL AS MY OWN. WE HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT IT WAS PURCHASED FROM (ARRIGO DODGE, CHRYSLER, JEEP RAM) IN WEST PALM BEACH FL. EIGHT (8) TIMES FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM. THEY HAVE REPLACED VARIOUS PARTS, AND EVEN BEEN ABLE TO RECREATE THE PROBLEM ONCE, HOWEVER, EVERY TIME WE GET THE VEHICLE BACK, WITHIN A FEW DAYS OR WEEKS IT STALLS AGAIN. VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING APPROX. 30 MPH ON 2-WAY ROAD WHILE APPROACHING A TURN. ALL POWER STOPPED. WAS ABLE TO BRAKE AND TURN JUST ENOUGH TO AVOID COLLISION. AT STOP HAD TO PUT INTO PARK IN ORDER TO RESTART VEHICLE. COINCIDENTALLY, JUST REC'D INFO IN MAIL RE: TIPM SAFETY RECALL.
