TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER AWD. WHILE MAKING A TURN, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO DRIVE OVER 5 MPH AND A LIGHTING BOLT ICON ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY AND ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT CALLED A LOCAL DEALER (TEXAN DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM, 18555 HIGHWAY 59 N, HUMBLE, TX 77338) AND WAS PROVIDED WITH THE NUMBER TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER, BUT WAS UNABLE TO SPEAK WITH ANYONE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER AWD. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE ABS AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE MADE A TICKING NOISE BEFORE STALLING. WHILE AT A RED LIGHT, THE CONTACT RESTARTED THE VEHICLE AND IT MOVED VERY SLOWLY. DURING EACH ATTEMPT TO ACCELERATE, THE TICKING NOISE GREW LOUDER AND THE VEHICLE SHOOK VIOLENTLY. THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE EMERGING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE TICKING SOUND OCCURRED ONE OTHER TIME, BUT IT WENT AWAY. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE ROCKER ARM ASSEMBLY ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE FAILED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 201,000.
07 R/T CHARGER GOING HOME TRAVELLING 20 MILES AN HOUR ON COUNTRY ROAD I HEAR A WARNING LIGHT GO ON. THE TEMPERATURE GUAGE LIGHT IS ON AND ITS PAST RED. THE ENGINE LIGHT AND THROTTLE CONTROL VALVE ALSO GO ON. I AM ABOUT 1 MILE FROM MY HOUSE SO I DRIVE AROUND 5 MPH TO GET TO THE HOUSE. 50 YARDS AWAY THE TEMPERATURE NEEDLE GOES ALL THE WAY TO COLD. I STARTED TO THINK ITS ELECTRICAL. I PULL IN MY DRIVEWAY AND CHECK FLUIDS. ALL ARE FINE. HUSBAND TAKES HIS CAR AND GOES AND BUYS A THERMOSTAT THINKING THATS IT, IT WASN'T. WE NOTICED ANTIFREEZE AT THAT POINT LEAKING. WHEN LOOKING FOR LEAK HE NOTICED THAT THE FAN ASSEMBLY BLADE WAS SHATTERED ON ONE SIDE AND THAT IT HAD DUG INTO THE RADIATOR. SO AGAIN HE GOES BACK TO THE STORE TO PURCHASE A FAN ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLS IT....
