TWO WEEKS LATER, THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE CONTACT REMAINED ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY FOR THREE HOURS, AT WHICH TIME SHE WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY START THE VEHICLE. A WEEK LATER, THE FAILURE RECURRED AGAIN. IN EACH INSTANCE THE VEHICLE WOULD START AND HAVE POWER, BUT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,631 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 93,046.
