The rear tail gate will not latch. In cold weather the rear gate has exhibited problems latching. The tailgate motor fails to open or close and the latch remains released. The latch is well greased and moves. You can hear the latch motor run, however the tailgate does not latch shut. There is no D-Ring or pull to tie a rope. No handles with a through hole to tie the tailgate closed to protect animals and baggage from falling out the back. The tailgate slowly opens by itself while driving. Wind pressure or bumps cause it to open when the latch fails to work properly. This could put occupants and drivers on the highway at risk if things fell out the back of the minivan on the highway.
