DRIVING ALL OF SUDDEN CAR LUNGED AND ALL LIGHTS AND MOTOR AND FORWARD MOTION STOPPED, THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN JERKED AND STARTED RUNNING NORMAL. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES IN LAST YEAR. LOCAL DEALER CAN NOT FIND PROBLEM. SO WE CONTINUE TO HOPE AND PRAY IT DOESN'T RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT. NOW WHEN YOU START THE ENGINE, ONE TIME ALL GAUGES WORK AND THE NEXT TIME NONE WORK. DEALER STILL HASN'T LOCATED PROBLEM. DEFINITELY ANNOYING AND DANGEROUS. GLAD WERE OLDER, RARELY DRIVE AT NIGHT. *JS
SAFETY ALERT: WHILE DRIVING, A BOLT HOLDING THE RACK AND PINION ARM SHEARED OFF AND THE STEERING FAILED ! ! ! THE STEERING COMPLETELY FAILED. IT WAS INOPERABLE. WHEN I CALLED CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY HUNG UP ON ME... WE JUST BOUGHT A TOYOTA.

ENGINE STALLS WITHOUT NOTICE. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IT HAS HAPPENED ON THE INTERSTATE IN TRAFFIC AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THERE IS NO INDICATIO THAT IT IS GOING TO STALL. THE FIRST SIGN OF A PROBLEM IS WHEN I PRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL THERE IS NO RESPONSE AND THE OIL INDICATOR LIGHT COMES ON . THERE IS ALSO A PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION NOT ENGAGING IN REVERSE AND LOW IN THE THE FIRST TIME I GO TO DRIVE IT IN THAT DAY. IT TAKES ABOUT 2 MINUTES BEFORE I CAN GET IT TO ENGAGE. WHEN DRIVING AFTER THE TRANSMISSION IS WARMED UP, THERE IS SOME HESITATION WHEN ACCELERATING. ALSO THE HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY DIM WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT. THE HOOD LIFT ASSIST CYLINDERS DO NOT FUNCTION ALLOWING THE HOOD TO DROP WITHOUT NOTICE. I WAS STRUCK IN THE HEAD TWICE WHILE CHECKING FLUIDS.*AK
