THE VEHICLE MAKES A POPPING NOISE WHEN BRAKING OR HITS A BUMP. STEERING ALSO SHIFTS. HE SAYS HE HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE STRUTS, WHICH HE HAS HAD REPLACED, ALONG WITH THE ENGINE AND THE TRANSMISSION MOUNTS. ALSO THE INNER AND OUTER TIRE RODS AND THE MANUFACTURER STATES HIS AUTO IS NOT IN A RECALL. TS

LOUD NOISE COMES FROM FRONT END WHEN A BUMP IS HIT IN THE ROAD, WE HAVE SPENT OVER $800 TRYING TO REPAIR THIS PROBLEM BUT HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL. WE HAVE REPLACED THE RACK & PINION RACK, THE STRUTS & THE TIE RODS. WE WOULD LIKE SOME KIND OF ASSISTANCE IN FIGURING OUT THIS PROBLEM. WE HAD SEVERAL MECHANICS SAY IT WAS THE RACK, WE DID THAT & IT DIDN'T HELP AT ALL. I THINK IF CHRYSLER MADE A GOOD CAR, WE WOULDN'T BE INVESTING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY IN A CAR. WE HAVE 8 PEOPLE IN OUR FAMILY THAT OWNS CHRYSLER & DODGE CARS & TRUCKS & WE HAVE ALL HAD PROBLEMS. WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE BUYING CHRYSLER PRODUCTS, BUT CAN'T SEEM TO AFFORD THE CAR PAYMENT WHEN WE ARE SPENDING MORE IN REPAIRS MONTHLY.

WHILE BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE, THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL DROPPED. LOOKING UNDER THE VEHICLE, IT APPEARED THAT THE AXLE HAD TORN AWAY FROM THE FRAME.
