2019 CHEVROLET TRAX Steering Problems

Turbo Charger/Super charger is not following sufficient air. The vehicle does not excelerate, and slowed down in the middle of traffic. I had to turn the car off for 15 minuetes. Before i could drive home. Check engine light continues to disappear and reappear for the last 60 days. Diagnostic code P0299. GMC will not cover the cost under special coverage, known issues with 2017-2018 which GMC has special coverage.

The steering failed causing the vehicle to not be able to turn left. The dealership replaced the entire steering column to correct the issue. The failure happened while being driven by my daughter nearly causing a crash. She was able to stop and back up in the road as the vehicle would turn right but not left. The issue after the initial incident cleared up and did not affect the vehicle operation until the next day when it happened again. The second occurrence is when we took it in for service. The dealership stated the module in the steering column was failing. The module replacement required the replacement of the steering column.

Even after I rotate my tires have a front end alignment and stuff it still poles to the left after driving it for a day but but I am told there is nothing wrong with the car and I'm told everything underneath the car is fine it's been doing this since I bought it with 20,000 miles now it's got 48,000

When it gets very cold and I go to start it in the morning for work the steering wheel won't move or sometimes it will but it's like trying to turn a cork screw out of a bottle when tring to steer, but when it warms up it's fine

Ac Delco manual rack and pinion this is the second time it’s been replaced in 3 months these are all the part numbers that are on it A118338053, 2110200000000x, 812563302, 4250 8252 the steering wheel knuckle that connects to the steering shaft from the rack is breaking down with every bump it gets worse it’s going to eventually cause an accident this is the 4th time I’ve tried to make contact about this issue as the first 3 times GM has completely ignored my messages and I don’t want this to get any worse it’s at the point I can’t drive the car right now and I already paid to have a new one put in plus the part and I’m out all that money and still paying on a broke down car I don’t think that’s very fair If we can get to this as soon as possible much...

POWER STEERING LOCKS WHEN CAR IS PARKED AND TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW 30 DEGREES. CAR HAS TO BE WARMED UP FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES AND THEN WHEN THE STEERING RELEASES THERE IS A VERY LOUD RUBBING NOISE.

WENT TO DEALERSHIP FOR OIL CHANGE. TOLD TO PULL CAR UP INTO BAY. WHEN TURNING CAR BACK ON THE DASHBOARD LITE UP CLAIMING ISSUE WITH POWER EFFECTING STEERING AND BRAKES. THEY PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND FOUND NO ISSUE. TOLD ME IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN LET THEM KNOW AND I SHOULD PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, WITH MY FLASHERS ON, AND TURN THE CAR OFF WHICH WOULD TRIP IT. I ONLY LEASED THIS CAR IN MARCH 2019 WITH 79 MILES. THERE HAS ALREADY BEEN ONE RECALL ON THIS MAKE AND MODEL.

NO IMPROVEMENT . TOOK CAR TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP ON 9-5-2019 TO 9-12-2019.FOUND DOOR MOLDING BAD REPLACED THEM . DOORS STILL NOT FLUSH. CAR IS STILL PULLING OFF THE ROAD TO THE RIGHT. BOUGHT CAR 4 DAYS AGO. STEERING PULLED TO LEFT. WAS ASSURED IT JUST NEEDED ALIGNMENT. NEXT DAY, DEALERSHIP DID A BOTCHED ALIGNMENT (GOT SECOND OPTION AND RE-DO AT BELLE TIRE, PROVING MY SUSPICIONS). ISSUE STILL HAPPENING. CAR PULLS TO THE RIGHT' AND I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A DEATHTRAP. IT FEELS VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE NO MATTER WHAT I DO IT CONTINUALLY WANTS TO PULL TO THE RIGHT.
