The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 MPH, the steering wheel became loose. The contact stated that there was an abnormal amount of slack in the steering wheel. The steering wheel failed to operate as intended. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed and it was determined that the steering bushing needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired under the warranty, but the failure recurred three years later. The manufacturer was contacted and a complaint was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.
Power steering has failed. Truck drives stiff without power steering.
HARD STEERING WHEN GOING 25 MPH AND FASTER HAS DIGATAL ASSIST STEERING FELLS LIKE NO ASSIST AT ALL.
2017 SILVERADO REVERSE CAMERA AT NIGHT THERE IS NO CONTROL TO TURN DOWN BRIGHTNESS. IT IS SO BRIGHT THAT THIS CAUSES A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE TRYING TO BACK UP AND USE PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR. OTHER 2017 RADIOS ALLOW FOR ADJUSTMENT 2016 AND 2015 ALLOWED DRIVER TO ADJUST BRIGHTNESS. I HAVE TO COVER SCREEN TO BACK UP.
