PURCHASE A 2005 CORVETTE IN 2008. SHORTLY AFTER AC DIDN'T WORK AFTER WORKING FINE JUST MOMENTS. DROVE CAR FOR A HALF A MILE OR SO AND HEARD A CLUNKING SOUND. PULLED OVER AND RAISED HOOD BUT DIDN'T NOTICE ANYTHING. AC STILL NOT WORKING BUT CAR IS NOT A DAILY DRIVER AND WINTER WAS APPROACHING SO NOT TOO CONCERN. 2009 THIS YEAR DECIDED TO GET AC CHECKED FOR THE SUMMER.....THE AC CLUTCH WAS MISSING. HINDSITE THE CLUNKING SOUND I HEARD A YEAR AGO WAS THE AC CLUTCH FALLING OFF! UNACCEPTABLE FOR ANY CAR. *TR
