VEHICLE HAD AN OIL CONSUMPTION PROBLEM. VEHICLE USED 3/4 QUART OF OIL EVERY 2000 MILES. IN A 3000 MILE OIL CHANGE VEHICLE WOULD HAVE USED 11/4 QUARTS OF OIL. CONTACTED DEALER, AND DEALER STATED THIS WAS NORMAL.*AK

WHEN TAKING THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION OUT OF THIRD GEAR THE COMPUTER CANNOT FIND THE IDLE SPEED , SO THE ENGINE FLUCTUATES RPMS ANYWHERE FROM 850 RPM TO STALLING. IT DOES THIS REPEATEDLY. THIS WAS DISCOVERED WHEN TURNING A CORNER, TAKING IT OUT OF THIRD AND LOSING ALL POWER AFTER THE ENGINE STALLED. THE DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEM AND HAS ADVISED THE MANUFACTURER.
