DISTRIBUTOR FAILED AT ONLY 22,000 MILES DUE TO DESIGN FLAW ALLOWING IT TO BE EXPOSED TO MOISTURE WHICH CAUSED THE BEARINGS TO SEIZE. MANUFACTURER REDESIGNED FAULTY PART IMMEDIATELY IN FOLLOWING MODEL YEAR TO INCLUDE VACUUM SEALS WHICH PREVENT THIS PROBLEM BUT DID NOT RECALL AND REFUSE TO REIMBURSE EXCESSIVE COST ($1,600) TO REPAIR KNOWN DEFECT WITH LT1 ENGINE ON 1994 MODELS. *LA
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AT ANY SPEED FOR 10-30 MINS HAD IT CHECKED COMPUTER DOES NOT STORE ANY TROUBLE CODES HAD IT AT DEALER,AUTO REPAIR SHOP EXCESS OF 18 TIMES NO ONE CAN FINE ANYTHING WRONG WHY?????? DISPITE THE CK ENG LITE I HAVE 135789 MILES AND NEVER HAD A BREAK DOWN OR ANYTHING ELSE OF THAT SORT THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST CAR I EVER OWNED. *AK

OIL PAN AND OIL LEVELER MONITOR SWITCH INSIDE PAN COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT, THIS IS OBVIOUSLY DUE TO DEFECTIVE MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP, COMPLETE LACK OF QUALITY WITH THIS BRAND. THE MANUFACTURE IS SELLING INFERIOR AND DEFECTIVE, FAR FROM QUALITY TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC COSTS TO REPAIR IT WAS 540.00 ON COMPONENT THAT IS COVERED IN OIL AT ALL TIMES....IMAGINE THAT. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT ANY SPEED A LITTLE NOISE CAME FROM UNDER THE HOOD WHICH BECAME LOUDER AND LOUDER. WHEN TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP THE FLYWHEEL WAS REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN BACK TO DEALER TIME AND TIME AGAIN FOR VARIOUS PROBLEMS. THE FLYWHEEL WAS REPLACED AGAIN IN MARCH OF 1998 FOR THE SAME REASON. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON MAY 1, 1998, THE VEHICLE SEEMED TO LOSE ALL POWER AND QUIT. THERE IS 60,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE.
