MY 2010 CAMARO THAT WAS PURCHASED NEW HAD 36,280 MILES ON IT WHEN IT FAILED THE REQUIRED EMISSION TEST DO TO THE CRANKSHAFT (TIMING BELTS) BEING BAD . I HAVE CONTACTED GMC AND HAVE ASKED THE DEALERSHIP IN HOMEWOOD IL TO ASSIST ME IN THE REPAIRS AS THE REPAIRS WERE $1,700.00. I WAS TOLD THAT THE WARRANTY EXPIRED AT 36,000 MILES OR 6 YEARS. I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS OUT OF POCKET. THE CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP AND GMC ARE AWARE THE THIS YEAR AND MODEL CAR HAS THIS ENGINE PROBLEM AND ARE NOT WILLING TO CORRECT THEM CAUSING THE OWNERS TO REPAIR THE ISSUE AND PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. THIS CAR COST AROUND $38,000 DOLLARS TO PURCHASE NEW.
