The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed with no vehicles or objects nearby, the Forward Collision Avoidance system activated, and the Automatic Emergency Braking System engaged and brought the vehicle to a complete stop. Upon driving off, the vehicle then jerked and jolted. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the vehicle functioned as intended during the time in the Service Center. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 20,000. The VIN was not available.
