I WAS TOLD BY A GM DEALER HOW MY VEHICLE IS RUSTED EXCESSIVELY WITH THE UNDERCARRIAGE AND THE QUARTER SILLS THAT HAVE A RUST THROUGH HOLE ABOUT 3 INCHES. I'VE OPENED A CASE WITH GM AND THEY STATED ITS OUT OF WARRANTY. I DON'T KNOW HOW GM GETS AWAY WITH THIS REPAIR AND TOYOTA HAD TO BUYBACK VEHICLE OR DO FRAME REPLACEMENTS
THE LOCK ON THE TAILGATE BECAME DIFFICULT TO LOCK. THEN, A WEEK LATER WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH DOWN A CITY STREET, THE TAILGATE DROPPED OPEN. WHEN I TRIED CLOSING IT, THE LEFT SIDE WOULD NOT LATCH. THE TAILGATE HANDLE WAS REPLACED A WEEK LATER. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME THIS PART WAS REPLACED. THIS SAME THING HAPPENED IN 2008 WHEN IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. *TR
