2022 CAN-AM RYKER Power Train Problems

The contact owns a 2022 Can-Am Ryker. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed, but the motorcycle failed to accelerate as intended. Additionally, the contact stated that the motorcycle had failed to start several times. The contact stated that when the motorcycle was started, the motorcycle idled roughly. The motorcycle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the battery had failed and needed to be replaced. The contact purchased and replaced the battery; however, the failure persisted. The motorcycle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 900.

At random, the bike feels like it has a severe rear wheel wobble when negotiating a left-hand curve. It's a frequent occurrence but inconsistent and unpredictable. I took it to an independent repair shop and my local dealership but the technicians were unable to duplicate the problem on their test rides.

The contact was instructed to return the vehicle to the dealer; however, since the return of the vehicle, the contact had yet to hear a response. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
