I OWN A 95 CADILLAC THAT HAD LESS THAN 3000 MILES ON IT WHEN I GOT IT IN 95. IN 2000 THE FUEL PUMP SHORTED OUT IN THE FUEL TANK BURNING UP THE FUEL PUMP AND THE WIRING HARNESS GOING TO IT. I HAD THE CAR REPAIRED AT STUTZMAN CADILLAC IN WINCHESTER VA. IN NOVEMBER 2005 THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN. I CALLED CADILLAC MAIN OFFICE AND TALKED TO TOLD THEM ABOUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THE ONLY REPLY I GOT FROM THEM WAS THEY WERE SORRY THAT I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR. THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED THE CAR HAD 43000 MILES ON IT . IT NOW HAS 81000. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THERE OUGHT TO BE A FUSE OR SOMETHING TO KEEP THIS FROM HAPPENING. *JB
