INTERMITTENTLY WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE WILL STALL OR LAUNCH FORWARD. RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A ACCIDENT. DEALERSHIP HAS SERVICED VEHICLE 5 TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM, BUT THEY COULD NOT FIX IT. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE DETAILS. TS....*AK

CRUISE CONTROL WOULD GO OUT INTERMITTENTLY I TOOK IT TO THE KARL MODEL BUICK AT 1125 E 32ND ST IN YUMA AND THEY DIAGNOISEDEDIT AS THE P.C. M THEY PUT IN A REMANAFACTURED ONE AT A COST OF $315.32 IT WORKED FOR 2 DAYS AND THEN IT WENT OUT ALTOGETHER SO THEY PUT IN ANOTHER ONE AND IT WOULD ONLY FIRE ON 4 CYLINDERS SO THEY PUT IN AMOTHER ONE AND THE CRUISE WORKED FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS I TOOK IT BACK AND TO SAY THE LEAST I WAS A LITTLE IRATE. I ASKED THEM IF THEY HAD CHECKED THE BRAKE SWITCH. THEY PUT IN A NEW SWITCH AND IT HAS WORKED FINE SINCE THEN. WHICH LEAVES ME TO BELIEVE THAT THERE WASEN'T ANY THING WRONG WITH THE P. C. M TO START WITH. BUT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE HEARD OF SIMILAR INSTANCES WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL....
