2023 BMW X7 Forward Collision Avoidance Automatic Emergency Braking Problems

While coming to red lights or exiting the freeway I notice the brakes not braking while I press on the pedal. I have to push the pedal with extreme force to get it to stop. I was luckily able to stop it in time. My x7 braking systems reaction timing is not consistent, I feel like I am putting my family at risk if my wife is driving, or if someone else is driving and they cant hit the brakes with the extra force that the car requires sometimes. I have driven many car and have never had a car with inconsistent braking effort needed to stop.

On June 29th, 2023 at approximately 8:45 AM we were pulling into a parking space slowly tapping the brakes to slow and stop the vehicle. About 2/3 of the way into the parking stall around 3 or 4 feet from the curb, the vehicle actually accelerated while pressing the brake jumping the curb. We pressed on the brakes again and the car accelerated even faster crossing the sidewalk crashing into a building. We believe the brakes caused the SUA (Sudden Unintended Acceleration) accelerating the vehicle twice and the vehicle failed to apply the brakes. We believe this would've been caused by a computer error on the vehicle. We also believe the vehicle to initiate the two safety systems failed, Crash Imminent Braking & Dynamic Brake Support thus being able to avoid the accident.
