The contact owns a 2013 BMW M6. The contact stated that while driving at 80 MPH, the vehicle stalled. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed with engine failure, and that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and was towed to the contact's residence. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact filed a complaint with the manufacturer. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.
HELLO, I BOUGHT A USED 2013 BMW M6 WITH ABOUT 77K MILES ON IT FROM DCH MONTCLAIR ACURA IN NJ, AND SINCE I BOUGHT IT THE CAR HAS HAD PROBLEMS AND I TRIED TO RETURN IT TO THEM A FEW TIMES BUT THEY JUST BRUSHED ME OFF AND CURRENTLY MY CAR NEEDS A NEW ENGINE AND IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SINCE LAST YEAR (2020). THEY HAVE REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND ARE FORCING ME TO FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY AS MY ONLY OPTION OUT OF THIS CAR LOAN. THEY HAVE ALSO NOT PROVIDED ME WITH A SINGLE DIAGNOSTIC REPORT BUT ONLY REPAIR THE ORDER OF MINOR THINGS BEING FIXED. I HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC REPORT I GOT DONE SHORTLY AFTER GETTING THE CAR FROM THEM WHICH DOES NOT MATCH AT ALL WITH WHAT THEY STATED. THIS IS THE FIRST EVER CAR I PURCHASED. IT HAS A LOT OF...
