TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 750LI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EMERGENCY BRAKES DID NOT ENGAGE AND, WHEN PARKED ON AN INCLINE, THE VEHICLE ROLLED AWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS SCHEDULED FOR A RECALL REPAIR AT THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO ADVISED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE VEHICLE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 67,000.
