The contact owns a 2023 ATC PL700 RV. The contact stated that while the RV was stationary, there was an abnormal popping sound with an abnormal burning odor. The RV was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a junction box failure. The RV was repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the electrical system had become inoperable, and there was a high voltage reading and an error code retrieved. The RV was taken to the dealer, who later informed the contact that the RV was charging and no repair had been performed. The contact was advised to pick up the RV. The manufacturer was contacted and towed the RV to a Manufacturer Service Center, where it was diagnosed and determined that the battery was not wired to the vendor electric specifications. The RV was repaired. During an ongoing dispute between the first dealer and the contact, the dealer threatened to file a defamation lawsuit against the contact. The dealer later contacted the manufacturer for clarification on the Manufacturer Service Center electric failure diagnostic information. The manufacturer emailed a letter to the contact, admitting to reverse solar and refrigerator wiring defects. The RV was rewired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had failed to disclose the information after the Manufacturer Service Center had diagnosed the RV. The failure mileage was unknown.
