All Forward Collision Avoidance Complaints
The contact owns a 2019 Acura TLX. The contact stated that the auto START/STOP system was inoperable, and the vehicle was repaired under TSB Number: 22-008. Additionally, the contact stated while driving at various speeds, the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) was intermittently inoperable. The contact stated that on the occasions that the LKAS was operable while driving, the lane keeping assist caused the steering wheel to jerk and pull the vehicle into another lane. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring while driving. Additionally, the contact stated that the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) engaged while there was no other vehicle nearby. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle sputtered, jerked, decelerated, and significantly pulled towards side of the road. The contact was able to safely pull to the side of the road.
