My car is fine Lyft company has stopped me because I have a recall for you . And I need a document from you that says that I don't need no recall . Plus I just had the inspection this morning. And my car is perfect. Can you please help me with a document to get back to work
Paint peeling around rear window. Moonroof spontaneously shattered while driving.
My sunroof shattered while I was driving on the highway.
This is a white car with no after-dealer modifications. The paint is peeling from around the windshield and rear window.
THE CAR HAS AN OPEN RECALL. MAUS ACURA IN TAMPA SAID IF IT DOESN'T NEED REPAIRED AT THE TIME THEY WILL CLOSE THE RECALL WITHOUT REPAIRS! THEY ARE REFUSING TO GIVE ME LOANER AND SAID THEY ARE NOT FIXING IT.
FROM SECOND MONTH OF BUYING CAR, BATTERY DRAINED, ACURA TOWING CAME AND TOWED CAR TO A NEARBY DEALERSHIP AND REPLACE BATTERY UNDER WARRANTY. TOOK CAR DOWN TO DEALERSHIP THAT I PURCHASED FROM ABOUT NOSE IN FRONT DRIVER WHEEL HOLE AND PROBLEMS WITH THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF THE CAR. THEY STATED "CAR IS NEW DRIVE IT MORE" THE ELECTRICAL POWER STIRRING, THE BATTERY DRAINS QUICKLY(PROBLEM WITH FUSE), THE BRAKES SYSTEM SETS OFF SENSORS, ABS LIGHT ON, AIRBAG LIGHT ON (ALL THOUGH DEALERSHIP STATED THEY REPAIRED THAT RECALL). POWERTRAIN AND TRANSMISSION LEAKING, CHECK HILL START ASSIST SYSTEM, CHECK VSA SYSTEM, FOUND RECALL FOR POWERTRAIN ON INTERNET THAT WAS FROM JULY 2019 THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED ABOUT. COMPLAINED ABOUT PAINT FADING ON HOOD OVER ENGINE, COMPLAINED ABOUT SHOCKS AND STRUTS THAT DON'T NEED REPLACEMENT BUT THERE IS SOMETHING LOOSE THAT IS MAKING NOISE, I HAVE UPDATED HOME ADDRESS WITH ACURA BUT...
THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED BY ITSELF AS I PARKED IN A PARKING SPACE. I STEPED ON THE BRAKE BUT THE VEHICLE JUST SURGED FORWARD. NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE, BUT JUST THAT DAY MORNING AS I PARKED IN FRONT OF MY WORKING PLACE, SOME MALFUNCTIONS EITHER IN COMPUTER OR OVERALL VEHICLE SYSTEM OCCURRED THAT DAY.
THE CAR DISPLAYED MULTIPLE ERRORS ON ITS MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY. THE ERRORS INCLUDE BRAKE SYSTEM PROBLEM, ABS PROBLEM, ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION SYSTEM PROBLEM, AND ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL PROBLEM. THOSE ERROR MESSAGES WENT AWAY ON MY WAY TO ELK GROVE ACURA BUT I WAS ABLE TO RECORD THEM ON MY PHONE. THERE WAS STILL AN ERROR MESSAGE IN THE ACURALINK SYSTEM FOR THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING THAT I SHOWED THE SERVICE ADVISOR. HE DELETED THE MESSAGE WITHOUT TELLING ME AND SAID THOSE ERRORS ARE CAUSED BY A LOW BATTERY. HE WENT TO TEST THE BATTERY AND IT TESTED FINE SO I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING TO FIX. HE SENT ME HOME AFTER REFUSE MY REQUEST TO DOCUMENT THE ERRORS WITH ACURA. HE MADE IT LIKE I NEVER BROUGHT THE CAR IN AND THOSE PROBLEMS NEVER EXISTED.
2016 ACURA ILX 1. BREAKS SQUEAL WHEN COMING TO A STOP. DEALERSHIP STATED THEY REPLACED THE ROTORS WITH A MORE INDUSTRIAL ROTOR. ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO RECALL, THE DEALERSHIP STATED ITS BECOMING A COMMON COMPLAINT FOR THE ILX. SEEMED TO BE WELL FOR A WHILE BUT PROBLEM HAS RESURFACED. 2. BACK WINDOWS MISALIGNED. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND PARTS NEEDED TO BE ORDERED TO FIX THE ISSUE. 3. TAKATA INFLATORS. TAKATA SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND PAY FOR A COMPARABLE RENTAL VEHICLE. SAFETY SHOULD BE A TOP PRIORITY CONSIDERING THEY MANUFACTURED A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND APPARENTLY DID NOT DO ENOUGH TESTING BEFORE RELEASE. I DON'T BLAME HONDA, I BLAME TAKATA FOR ONLY DOING THE BARE MINIMUM AND BACKING THE CAR DEALERSHIPS INTO A CORNER. NEXT TIME I PURCHASE A VEHICLE, I WILL BE CHECKING THE AIR BAG MANUFACTURER BEFORE I BUY! CAR DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN AMAZING AND HAS WONDERFUL SERVICE!
BRAKES SQUEAK WHEN STOPPING "LOUD NOISE" DEALER TOLD ME THAT IS NORMAL HOME-LINK IS SHORT IN RANGE - DEALER TOLD ME THAT IS NORMAL BACKUP SENSORS - NO ON AND OFF SWITCH AND MAKES BEEP WHEN PUTTING INTO REVERSE. - DEALER TOLD ME THAT WAS NORMAL. BACKUP CAMERA - BLURRY AND IS WORST AT NIGHT VERY UNSAFE - DEALER TOLD ME THAT WAS NORMAL THAT HE TESTED 4 2016 ILX AND THAT ALL THE SAME.
