Bulletin Summary
Some 2024 Edge vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine and all-wheel drive (AWD) may experience the fuel tank not filling up beyond half-full, hard to start, and/or stalls upon restart after refueling. A malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P04F0, P0451, P0455, and/or P0496 may also be stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to a disconnected fuel vapor line inside the fuel tank. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reattach the fuel tank vapor line inside the fuel tank.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
