Bulletin Summary
This article supersedes TSB 17-0068 to update the Service Procedure and Parts List. Some 2016-2017 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine and built on or before 21-Aug-2017 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P203B. This may be due to a low voltage condition during engine cranking. To correct this condition, reflash the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) reductant level sensor/quality module using the Urea Sensor Reprogramming tool.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
