Bulletin Summary
Confirmation of windscreen preparation requirements prior to fitment if required. REASON - The windscreen replacement procedure shown in the Emira service notes (operation code 11.01.01-02), describes the process for the fitment of a windscreen onto a new production windscreen frame. The procedure currently shown in the service notes will be amended at the next scheduled update to include additional information for aftersales windscreen replacement. Note: Most replacement windscreens are installed by professional auto glass fitters using best industry practices including windscreen frame and glass preparation, using methods similar to the text as shown below in this bulletin. ACTION - If required, please ensure that any Lotus technician or auto glass representative who is fitting a new windscreen to an Emira on your Dealerships behalf is made aware of this bulletin.
