Bulletin Summary
Some 2025-2026 Transit vehicles equipped with rear-wheel-drive (RWD), single rear wheel only, may experience a boom/hum/moan noise from the rear while driving. This noise is most noticeable at highway speeds between 70 and 90 mph (112-144 km/h). This may be due to a harmonic vibration. The Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 205-01 > Diagnosis and Testing > Driveshaft > Symptom Chart NVH > Rumble or Boom has been updated to include diagnostic and repair direction for this concern.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
