Bulletin Summary
Some 2024-2025 Bronco vehicles equipped with a painted hard top may exhibit a strong plastic odor inside the cabin coming from the painted hard top during high temperatures and/or after extended periods of sun exposure. This is part of the normal material break-in process for the removable roof panels. This break-in process can be accelerated through exposure to heat over time such as leaving the vehicle parked in direct sunlight on warm days. To dissipate the odor, instruct customers to use air conditioning with the recirculate function off and/or open the side windows to vent the interior cabin.
