Technical Service Bulletin SSM 51099 — 2019 LINCOLN MKC

Some 2019 MKC vehicles without lane keep assist may exhibit an AdvanceTrac/hill start assist message(s) and/or illuminated electronic stability control/traction control indicator lamp with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U0420 stored in the anti-lock brake (ABS) module and U0415 stored in the power steering control module (PSCM). This concern may also result in additional DTCs. DTCs U0420 and U0415 may have been set as a result of low system voltage during a vehicle start. The PSCM may have a communication fault with the ABS module when it reacts to low voltage when the key is on. To correct the condition, replace the ABS control module using the service part number KJ7Z-2C219-C.
